On Friday, 20 October 2023, Ambassador Azhar received a courtesy call by His Excellency Colonel (Retired) Pengiran Kamal Bashah Pengiran Ahmad, High Commissioner-designate of Brunei Darussalam at the High Commission of Malaysia. Ambassador Azhar warmly welcomed Colonel Pengiran Kamal to Islamabad.
During the meeting, both Heads of Mission discussed matters of mutual interest. They also discussed on the diplomatic community of ASEAN Missions based in Islamabad. The meeting was held in a friendly manner.
