On Tuesday, 18 July 2023, Ambassador Azhar Mazlan received a courtesy call by Mr. Liaquat Ali Baiq, CEO of Kestral, and H.E. Ambassador Mr. Shahid Masroor Gul Kiani, Advisor to the CEO at the High Commission.
Mr. Liaquat briefed Ambassador Azhar on the ongoing business activities of their company in Pakistan. According to Mr. Liaquat, Kestral Group has established its presence in eleven clusters in Pakistan. Each of these clusters is represented by a separate company within the Kestral Group, with Kestral Holding (Pvt.) Ltd. holding ownership of these entities. The companies' diverse range of operations encompasses trading, logistics, project management, energy, facilities management, air charter services, construction, information technology, IT audit and security, security consultancy, legal services, and glass industry.
The meeting served as an opportunity for both sides to engage and discussed on matters of significance concerning Malaysia and Pakistan, with particular emphasis on trade and investment. The representatives exchanged views on ways to further strengthen bilateral economic ties and explored potential avenues for increased cooperation between the two nations.
