On Thursday, 13 July 2023, Ambassador Azhar received a courtesy call by Mr. Syed Ali Nawaz Gillani, Chief Editor, Daily Al-Jamat-e-Sarhad, Peshawar.
They discussed mutual interests between Malaysia and Pakistan, among others, bilateral trade, cultural exchanges, and cooperation in education and journalism. They emphasized the role of responsible journalism in fostering understanding and explored possibilities for future media exchanges and collaborative projects towards the advancement of the brotherly ties between Malaysia and Pakistan.
