On Thursday, 16 April 2009, , at 5:00 p.m.,  a renowned Pakistani's billionaire and Chairman of Bahria Town Pakistan,  MR. MALIK RIAZ HUSSAIN and accompanied by HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner of Malaysia, made a courtesy call on HIS EXCELLENCY DATUK SERI UTAMA TUN MOHD. KHALIL YAAKOB, Governor of Malacca, at the Governor?s Palace at Bukit Beruang, Malacca. Others present were MR. SYED SAIFUL, Business Associate and partner, MS. MARIAM RAHMAN, Advisor to Chairman and MR. TIE TECK MUK, Project Manager of the Bahria Town Pakistan.

 

During the courtesy call, HIS EXCELLENCY TUN KHALIL YAAKOB highlighted the remarkable development and investment opportunities in Malacca for Pakistan entrepreneurs such as MR. MALIK RIAZ to invest in the development of luxury hotels and real estates in the World Heritage City of Malacca.

 

Prior to the meeting, MR. MALIK RIAZ was one of the prominent key speakers of the International Seminar on the development of the construction industry (CIDB) on 16-17 April 2009 in Malacca. In his inspiring remarks, Malaysian construction companies were lured to actively participate and invest in Pakistan in view of the emerging opportunities and potentials available in the country to-date.
