COURTESY CALL ON MINISTER FOR NATIONAL FOOD SECURITY AND RESEARCH

The High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, H.E. Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, called on the Hon. Sikandar Hayat Khan Bosan, Minister for National Food Security and Research at his office on 3 October, 2013.  The High Commissioner was accompanied by Mr. Aiyub Omar, Head of Chancery.  The Minister had visited Malaysia before and two of his sons had studied in Malaysia.  His predecessor had also visited Malaysia for the MAHA International 2012.  Both sides have expressed deep interest to promote greater ties in the field of food and agriculture.  Among others, the Pakistani Government is willing to provide 30,000 – 50,000 acres of land to FELDA for palm oil cultivation in Pakistan in future.
