On 9 April 2025, Mr. Mohd Syafik Firdaus, Deputy Head of Mission, paid a courtesy visit to the Federal Minister for Board of Investment, His Excellency Mr. Qaiser Ahmed Sheikh, at his office.
During the 30-minute meeting, both sides engaged in constructive discussions to further strengthen bilateral trade and investment relations between the two countries. Among the key topics discussed was the enhancement of cooperation in the importation of basmati rice from Pakistan, reflecting mutual interest in deepening economic ties in the agricultural sector.
The meeting concluded in a warm and cordial manner, underscoring the commitment of both nations to explore new avenues of collaboration and foster long-term economic partnership.
