On 6 June, 2017, His Excellency Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, called on Her Excellency Tehmina Janjua, the new Foreign Secretary to Pakistan. She assumed duty as Foreign Secretary on 20 March, 2017 and her last posting was as the Permanent Representative to the UN in Geneva.
Both sides expressed deep satisfaction of the brotherly bilateral relations between the two countries and hoped the current 60th Anniversary of the diplomatic relations would spur new heights in relations. The High Commissioner was accompanied by Head of Chancery, Syed Nauzer Idid.
