DINNER HOSTED BY ENCIK AHMAD AMIRI ABU BAKAR IN HONOUR OF DEPUTIES OF THE ASEAN AMBASSADORS ON 31 MARCH 2009 On Tuesday, 31 March 2009, ENCIK AHMAD AMIRI ABU BAKAR, Head of Chancery / Second Secretary of the High Commission of Malaysia hosted a dinner at his residence in Islamabad in honour of Deputies of the ASEAN Ambassadors comprising Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
The purpose of hosting the dinner was basically to discuss ongoing issues relating to ASEAN missions in Islamabad. In essence, ENCIK AHMAD AMIRI discussed a few ASEAN matters that includes security, ASEAN monthly activities and upcoming Deputies of the ASEAN Ambassadors Meeting (DAAM) on 28 April 2009.
