On Tuesday 29 August 2023, Ambassador Azhar attended a welcoming dinner in honour of H.E. Mr. Jalil Abbas Jilani, Foreign Minister of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and his spouse. The dinner was hosted by Mr. and Mrs. Luqman Ali Afzal, Founder & CEO of the Monal Group. The dinner was also attended by heads of mission based in Islamabad.
On this occasion, Ambassador Azhar felicitated Jalil Abbas Jilani on his appointment as the Caretaker Foreign Minister of Pakistan and expressed his desire to further strengthening the bilateral cooperation between Malaysia and Pakistan.
