On 5 September 2025, H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, hosted a dinner at Zamana Restaurant, Serena Hotel, in conjunction with the “Journey to Malaysia” Food Festival.
The event brought together ASEAN Heads of Mission, members of the diplomatic corps to enjoy an evening of authentic Malaysian cuisine specially prepared by chefs from Malaysia.
Ambassador Azhar thanked the guests for their presence and highlighted how food serves as a bridge for friendship and cultural understanding. The evening also provided an opportunity to share Malaysia’s upcoming initiatives, including its current role in ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025 and Visit Malaysia Year 2026.
It was a warm and memorable gathering that celebrated ASEAN solidarity, the diplomatic community, and Malaysia’s diverse culinary traditions.
