On behalf of the Drug Rehabilitation Centre of Malaysia, based in Muar, Johor, a handing-over ceremony of about RM 18,000 was held at the High Commission of Malaysia Islamabad. The High Commissioner, H.E. Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, handed the donation to its Representative, Mr. Wali Dad Jadoon, on 24 June, 2014. The ceremony was witnessed by the officials and staff of the Embassy. The donation would benefit about 60 poor families, especially, for the usage in the coming holy month of Ramadan. The Chairman of the Centre, Dr. Mahmud Mazlan and his Deputy, Dr. Pauzi Abu, had visited Pakistan in 2013 and had decided to make an annual contribution since then, particularly, to the single-mothers and the elderly people. May the Almighty, blessed these generous Malaysians.
