On Wednesday, 03 May 2023, Ambassador Azhar attended a Ceremony on Education Excellence Recognition hosted by Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) at Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad. The ceremony was attended by Diplomatic Corps in Islamabad and Business Community of Pakistan.
During the event, President Dr Arif Alvi urged all the stakeholders to assist the government in finding an ‘out of the box solution’ to educate and impart skills to about 23 million out-of-school children in the country, stating that the high number of out-of-school children was a matter of deep concern to him.
Also speaking during the event was the RCCI President, Mr Saqib Rafique who highlighted contributions of the RCCI in pursuance of different initiatives in the improvement of education, health, youth and women empowerment in Pakistan.
