On Monday, 17 June 2024, the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad celebrated Eid-ul-Adha at the Residential Complex of the High Commission. The event was hosted by His Excellency Ambassador Dato' Azhar and To’ Puan Amelia Azhar with the presence of the Home-Based Staff (HBS), along with their family members, as well as the Malaysian and Muslim communities residing in Islamabad.
The event commenced with the 'Solat Eid-ul-Adha' prayer, followed by slaughtering of 1 cow and 1 goat. The guests were then treated to a delightful variety of Raya dishes, prepared by PERWAKILAN Islamabad. At the end of the event, the HBS distributed over 50 packs of Qurban meat to security personnel in the Diplomatic Enclave.
