On Friday, 5 April 2024, Ambassador Azhar and Madam Amelia joined the Eid-ul-Fitr greeting speech ceremony at the Mayang Sari Hall, High Commission of Malaysia. The event was organized by President of the Kelab STMI. Other presents on this occasion were Home-based Staff (HBS), members of Perwakilan, and the Locally Recruited Staff (LRS).
Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan warmly welcomed the gathering and thanked Allah Almighty for the smooth passing of the month of Ramadan. He emphasized the gathering to be disciplined in this life and reflect on the day of each one's departure from this earth and be grateful to Allah the Almighty for giving us help and wisdom during our tenure on this earth along with placing importance on integrity and to continue working as a team in this High Commission. Excellency apprised that in June 2024, there might be a very important visit by our Minister of Foreign Affairs followed by the visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia.
In his closing remarks, Ambassador Mohammad Azhar thanked the gathering for their presence and distributed goody bags and Eidi to uniform staff, and encouraged them to pray for the progress and prosperity of Malaysia and Pakistan.
