On Thursday 7 September 2023, Ambassador Azhar visited the Technimen Agha (Pvt) Limited, Sialkot. Mr. Bilal Haider Agha, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) welcomed the High Commissioner and briefed him about the company achievements. Mr. Bilal Haider Agha briefed the High Commissioner that Technimen Agha (Pvt). Ltd. was established in 1970 as Technimen Corporation. This institution was conceived under the leadership of the late Mr. Agha Kamal Haider. His goal was to provide the health care market with specialized, hand crafted surgical instruments designed to meet the highest standard in quality.
He further updated that the High Commissioner that in 1976, Mr. Agha Kamal Haider took a giant step forward towards becoming one of the leading manufacturers of quality instruments capable of exporting surgical instruments to health care companies worldwide, by entering into a joint venture agreement with Gebrüder Martin GmbH & Co.KG from Tuttlingen, Germany. Technimen Corporation thereby; on 30th July 1976 became Technimen Gema (Pvt). Ltd., after getting registered with the assistant registrar; joint-stock companies, Lahore, Pakistan. In the year 2007, Technimen (Pvt). Ltd. became Technimen Agha (Pvt). Ltd., as we know to date.
Mr. Bilal Haider Agha also apprised the High Commissioner that the company is also exporting the surgical instruments to KLS Martin Group, Penang, Malaysia.
