On 10 February 2026, Kelab STMI organised a farewell reception in honour of Mr. Khairul Anwar bin Kamarudin, together with a birthday celebration for officers and staff born between January and March, at the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad.
The event was attended by officers and staff of the High Commission and was graced by His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan. In his remarks, the Ambassador expressed his sincere appreciation to Kelab STMI for organising the gathering and fostering camaraderie among members of the High Commission. He also conveyed his heartfelt gratitude to Mr. Khairul Anwar for his dedicated service, professionalism, and valuable contributions throughout his tenure in Pakistan, and wished him continued success in his future endeavours.
As a token of appreciation, a commemorative plaque was presented to Mr. Khairul Anwar by Kelab STMI in recognition of his commitment and service. The programme also featured a joint birthday celebration and cake-cutting ceremony for staff celebrating their birthdays from January to March.
The event concluded with a group photo session, followed by a brunch, reflecting the strong spirit of unity and fellowship within the High Commission.
