Delegation from FELDA Global Ventures Holding Berhad, led by Mr. Mohd Emir Mavani Abdullah, Group President / Chief Executive Officer visited Islamabad on 22 July, 2013. Among the programmes in Islamabad include courtesy calls on Chairman Board of Investment (BOI), Federal Cabinet Ministers from Ministry of Trade, Ministry of Industries and Production, Ministry of National Food Security and Research and High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan. There is keen interest to expand trade and investment ties with Pakistan beyond palm oil to include establishing sugar mills and import rice. Earlier, the delegation from FELDA also visited Karachi, visited Port Qasim and called on the Consul General.
