On 20 August 2016, High Commission of Malaysia, Islamabad hosted a Flag-off Ceremony for Ride to Hajj 2016. 5 member group of motorcyclists are travelling for Hajj by road via Pakistan – Iran – UAE and Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They travel began from Malaysia on 29 July 2016 and was inaugurated and flagged-off by the Hon. Prime Minister of Malaysia at PWTC, Kuala Lumpur.
The Convoy comprised of 5 experienced motorcyclists was led by national motorcyclist, Mr. Wazi Abdul Hamid. The High Commission prayed that the 12,500 km road route to be covered in about 35 to 45 days, would end up with huge success.
