GROUND BREAKING CEREMONY OF THE HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA COMPLEXES AT THE DIPLOMATIC ENCLAVE IN ISLAMABAD ON 9 SEPTEMBER 2009 On Wednesday, 09 September 2009 at 10:00 a.m., ENCIK AHMAD AMIRI ABU BAKAR, Charge d? Affaires a.i of the High Commission of Malaysia arranged a ground breaking ceremony of the High Commission of Malaysia Complexes in Diplomatic Enclave, Islamabad and welcomed HIS EXCELLENCY TAN SRI RASTAM MOHD ISA, Secretary General of Ministry of Foreign Affairs and technical delegation from Malaysia.
HIS EXCELLENCY TAN SRI RASTAM MOHD ISA raised the curtain for the ground breaking ceremony and signing of plaque of the High Commission of Malaysia Complexes. HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR MASOOD KHALID, Additional Secretary, Asia Pacific (AP) Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Islamabad was also present to grace the occasion. The Home-Based Staff (HBS), Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) and contractors were also present on the occasion.
HIS EXCELLENCY TAN SRI RASTAM MOHD ISA also visited the work sites of the High Commission of Malaysia complexes. During the site visit, HAJI ISMAIL ARIS of the Expertise International A & I Private Limited briefed regarding the construction work of the both sites.
ENCIK AHMAD AMIRI ABU BAKAR also arranged Iftar dinner in honour of HIS EXCELLENCY TAN SRI RASTAM MOHD ISA. The others present were Home-Based Staff (HBS) their spouses, Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) of the High Commission, Malaysian Students and fellow Malaysian based in Islamabad.
