HANDING OVER OF CHAIRMANSHIP OF THE ASEAN ISLAMABAD COMMITTEE (AIC) FROM MALAYSIA TO MYANMAR ON 19 JUNE 2013

The Chairmanship of the ASEAN Islamabad Committee (AIC) was officially handed over from His Excellency Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to His Excellency Ambassador U San Myint Oo, Ambassador of the Republic of the Union of Myanmar on Wednesday, June 19, 2013. He will preside over as the Chairman of AIC, effectively from June 20, 2013 until December 20, 2013, for a period of six months. The event was held at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad and witnessed by Ambassador Noor Muhammad Jadmani, Special Secretary (SP & AP) of Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and other ASEAN Ambassadors in Islamabad. The ceremony was followed by the luncheon.

At the end of the ceremony, the High Commissioner of Malaysia thanked every one for the support and cooperation given to him during his tenure of the Chairman of AIC.
