On 15 February 2026, under the patronage of His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Kelab STMI organised a Family Day visit to Nathia Gali and Murree for Home-Based Staff (HBS), Locally Recruited Staff (LRS), and their family members of the High Commission of Malaysia.
The programme was designed to foster harmony, camaraderie, and teamwork among staff members in a relaxed and informal setting. Surrounded by the cool climate and scenic beauty of the Galyat region, families enjoyed quality bonding time away from the office environment.
Upon arrival in Nathia Gali, participants took part in a refreshing brisk walk along the picturesque Dunga Gali Pipeline Track, promoting wellness and strengthening team spirit.
The delegation later proceeded to Lawrence College in Murree, where families gathered for a delightful luncheon and a range of recreational and sporting activities. Staff members enthusiastically participated in friendly matches of badminton, volleyball, table tennis, and basketball, further enhancing camaraderie and esprit de corps.
Children were equally delighted with dedicated activities, including an air castle, ensuring that the Family Day was enjoyable for all age groups. The programme successfully reinforced the importance of work-life balance while nurturing a close-knit and supportive High Commission community.
