On 4 February 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, attended the TJS StudySteps Pakistan Education Expo 2026 held at the Marriott Hotel, Islamabad. The Expo focused on promoting study opportunities in Malaysia and strengthening educational linkages between Malaysia and Pakistan.

The Expo offered on-the-spot admissions and counselling services, including guidance on academic programmes, entry requirements, and scholarship opportunities.
The Expo also highlighted Malaysia’s role as a gateway to global education, with information on credit transfer pathways to universities in the United Kingdom, the United States, and Australia.
In his engagement with organisers and participating institutions, the High Commissioner underscored Malaysia’s commitment to internationalisation in higher education and welcomed the strong interest from Pakistani students in pursuing their studies in Malaysia.
