On 7 February 2026, His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, attended a Visit Malaysia 2026 (VM2026) promotional dinner as Chief Guest, hosted by Super Crown International Travels Pvt Ltd at Truly Asian Cuisine Restaurant, Islamabad.
The programme featured a focused discussion session on Malaysia’s expertise in unlocking tourism opportunities, highlighting VM2026 as Malaysia’s flagship initiative to further strengthen international tourism engagement.
In his address, the High Commissioner underscored Malaysia’s strong tourism fundamentals and its readiness to welcome an estimated 47 million tourists under the VM2026 campaign. He highlighted Malaysia’s diverse cultural offerings, hospitality excellence, and commitment to sustainable tourism, while emphasising the important role of Pakistani travel partners in promoting Malaysia as a preferred destination.
The event brought together representatives from Pakistan’s travel and tourism industry, business stakeholders, and invited guests, providing a platform to exchange views on market trends, travel connectivity, and collaborative promotional strategies in support of Visit Malaysia 2026.
The High Commissioner reaffirmed Malaysia’s commitment to working closely with travel and tourism partners in Pakistan to maximise the momentum of VM2026 and further enhance people-to-people ties between Malaysia and Pakistan.
