On 19 August 2025, His Excellency Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, visited the families of bereaved staff members of the High Commission to convey his condolences. He was accompanied by Mr. Syafik Firdaus bin Hasbullah, Counsellor, and Mr. Azuan bin Haji Ayub, Third Secretary of the High Commission.
The High Commissioner extended his deepest sympathies to Mr. Sohail, a dedicated staff member of the Mission, on the passing of his beloved father. He acknowledged the profound sorrow of this loss and personally shared in the grief of the family during this difficult time.
In another instance of bereavement, the High Commissioner also conveyed his heartfelt condolences to Mr. Jamil, driver of the High Commission, on the tragic loss of his unborn child. The High Commission stands in solidarity with him and his family as they endure this painful moment.
As a gesture of compassion, the staff members of the High Commission extended financial support to both families.
