On Saturday, 16 March 2024, Ambassador Azhar Mazlan attended an iftar dinner hosted by Faqeer Muhammad Naqeeb ur Rehman, Custodian of Eidgah Sharif & Sufi Shrine, Rawalpindi. Faqeer Muhammad Naqeeb ur Rehman is a Pakistani Islamic Sufi scholar and leader. He is also Custodian of the Holy Shrine of Eidgah Sharif. Apart from Malaysia, Ambassadors from Morocco, Palestine and Turkiye also attended the gathering.
