On 25 July 2013, His Excellency Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysiahosted an Iftar dinner and Tarawih prayer at Rumah Malaysia. Home-Based Staff (HBS), their families, Locally Recruited Staff (LRS), Malaysian Students, Pakistani Friends and fellow Malaysians from different companies based in Islamabad also graced the occasion.
Pakistan Television (PTV) also interviewed the High Commissioner and other guests present during the Iftar dinner. The guests, approximately 100 people, were served with Malaysian as well as Pakistani cuisines.
