On Sunday, 17 March 2024, Ambassador Azhar Mazlan attended an iftar dinner hosted by Al-Khidmat Foundation, Pakistan (AKFP) at Islamabad Club. Also present were Ambassadors/High Commissioners from Japan, Jordan, Palestine, South Korea, Turkiye as well as businessmen and government officials.
President of Al-Khidmat, Prof. Dr. Hafeez ur Rahman, took the opportunity to brief the distinguished guests on Al-Khidmat's relentless pursuit of humanitarian services and shared insights into the organization's remarkable performance throughout the year 2023.
Al-Khidmat is no stranger to the Malaysian NGO scene; up to 2023, the foundation has collaborated with 14 Malaysian NGOs in various sectors of humanitarian and volunteer work and projects. Among the main partners of Al-Khidmat in Malaysia are Mercy Malaysia and the Malaysian Red Crescent.
