The inauguration ceremony of PAK-Afghan Malaysia Business Council was officially launched at the Mayang Seri Hall, High Commission of Malaysia, in Islamabad on 16 April, 2016. Private sectors from Pakistan and Afghanistan together with the Acting Consul General of Afghanistan, Peshawar were also present. The High Commissioner of Malaysia, Dato’ Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar in his remarks, among others said that this Pak-Afghan Malaysia Business Council would mark the beginning of new opportunities for the three Islamic countries, with a combined population of 267 million, to have more opportunities in trade, investment and education especially. All the three countries are blessed with abundant resources, and businessmen and investors should take every opportunity to increase networking between them for maximum and mutual benefits.
