Inauguration ceremony of Shaheen Air flight operation from Lahore to Kuala Lumpur was held on 21 April, 2016 at Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore. His Excellency Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan was invited as the Chief Guest for the inauguration ceremony. Others attended the inaugural ceremony were, Mr. Almas Hyder, Senior Vice President, Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Nasir Saeed, Vice President, Lahore Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Mr. Rashid Muhammad Hussain, Airport Manager, Air Commodore Salman Mahboob, Base Commander PAF Base Lahore, Senior members from the Government functionaries and handling agencies of Allama Iqbal International Airport, Lahore.
On this occasion, His Excellency the High Commissioner of Malaysia said that flight operation of Shaheen Air to Malaysia is a milestone which will not only boost bilateral relations between the two brotherly countries but will also help to promote tourism industry as well as people to people contact.
