On Monday, 27 January 2025, Ambassador Dato' Azhar attended the inauguration ceremony of the region's first 6-star hotel Mövenpick. The ceremony was held at Centaurus, Islamabad. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Other present were Federal Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Governors of Sindh, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Prime Minister of Azad Jammu & Kashmir (AJK), Minister of Health and Education of AJK, former President and Prime Mininster of AJK, members of diplomatic corps, senior government Officials, business community and representatives from hotel industry.
