On Thursday, 4 April 2024, Ambassador Azhar attended a reception hosted by Iranian Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam to mark the Quds Day at Marriott Hotel, Islamabad. The reception was also attended by heads of mission based in Islamabad.
Addressing the event, Iranian Ambassador Dr. Reza Amiri Moghaddam stated that following the killing of over 33,000 Muslims in Gaza by the Zionist Israeli regime, the world’s awareness of the evil nature of this regime had increased, and as a result, the leaders of the criminal Zionist regime had become more dishonourable than ever in the court of conscience of humanity.
The envoy thanked the participants for attending the World Quds Day commemoration ceremony.
