On 23 October 2012, the Foreign Ministry of Pakistan hosted a lunch in honour of His Excellency Mr. Widi A. Pratikto, Secretary General of D-8 Organization for Economic Cooperation. High Commissioners and Ambassadors of D-8 member countries including Malaysia attended the lunch. During the lunch, the invitees discussed about the forthcoming D-8 Summit, scheduled from 19 – 22 November 2012, to be held in Islamabad, Pakistan.
