MAIDEN FLIGHT OF MALINDO AIR FROM KUALA LUMPUR TO LAHORE, MARCH 3, 2016.

Malindo Air made its maiden flight from Kuala Lumpur to Lahore on 3 March, 2016.  Among on board were the Hon. Datuk Abdul Aziz b. Kaprawi, Deputy Minister of Transport, Datuk Kamarlin Hj. Ombi, Assistant Minister of Tourism, Culture and Environment of Sabah, Datuk Seri Mirza Mohammad Taiyab, Director General of Tourism Malaysia, Mr. Chandran Rama Murthy, CEO of Malindo Air, senior officials from Tourism Malaysia and cultural troupe from Sabah Tourism Board.  Malindo Air will fly 4 times in a week.  People-to-people contact between Malaysia and Pakistan is expected to heighten in future with this arrival of Malindo Air to Pakistan.  Malaysian Airline (MAS) used to fly to Pakistan about 5 years ago but its services were stopped due to the revamption of the airline.

 

2.         The Minister for Industries and Production. H.E Ghulam Murtaza Khan Jatoi and senior officials from the Punjab Province were in attendance to receive the Malaysian delegation.  The High Commissioner of Malaysia, Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar and spouse too were at the airport to receive the delegation.
