On 11 February 2013, His Excellency Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, met His Excellency Syed Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, Governor of Punjab at Punjab House, Lahore. The purpose of the meeting was to promote greater bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan. During the meeting High Commissioner also emphasized the need to establish ties in the field of education, energy sector, construction and infrastructure between the two brotherly countries. The Governor also invited to visit his country-side home in Southern Punjab to appreciate the rural life of Pakistan.
