MEETING WITH THE PRESIDENT OF THE FAISALABAD CHAMBER OF COMMERCE AND INDUSTRY (FCCI)

On 13 February 2013, His Excellency Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, met Mr. Mian Zahid Aslam, President of the Faisabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FCCI), Faisalabad at his office.  Faisalabad is said to be the Manchester of Pakistan. During the meeting, both sides discussed about ways and means to increase trade relations between Malaysia and Pakistan.  His Excellency admired the textile industry of Pakistan in Faisalabad which is the main source of exports of Pakistan.  His Excellency also mentioned about the establishment of the Pakistan – Malaysia Business Council (Northern Chapter).  The meeting was held in a cordial manner.
