On 9 February 2016, His Excellency Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan, held a meeting with Mr. Sheikh Muhammad Arshad, President of Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry at his office. The purpose of the meeting was to promote greater economic ties and bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan. Other members of the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry also attended the meeting. During the meeting, His Excellency the High Commissioner, also discussed about the launching of Malindo Air in Lahore, Pakistan, which would certainly enhance people to people contact, including tourism, business and investment opportunities.
