On 6 August, 2014, His Excellency Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan accompanied by Mr. Aiyub bin Omar, Head of Chancery of the High Commission of Malaysia, Islamabad called on H.E. Syed Tariq Fatemi, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. During the meeting, both sides discussed various issues of bilateral relations between Malaysia and Pakistan. The High Commissioner also invited on behalf of the Government of Malaysia for Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif to attend the 10th World Islamic Economic Forum (WIEF) which is scheduled to be held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE) from 28 – 30 October, 2014. Official letter from Prime Minister of Malaysia to the Prime Minister of Pakistan would follow soonest.
