The High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad, Pakistan organized the 60th National Day Celebration with a theme “Sehati Sejiwa” and sang the Negaraku and Jalur Gemilang. Following that, the High Commissioner delivered his remarks to the audience. Perwakilan Malaysia also took part in performance of the song title “Tanggal 31” and recital of Putra/Puisi, in a modest way at the Mayang Sari Hall of the High Commission. This gathering, given the financial constraints, was only confined to all Malaysian Community based in Islamabad, as well as, the Locally Recruited Staff of the High Commission.
In the evening, the management of Safa Gold Mall Shopping Complex in Islamabad organized a cake cutting ceremony and Hi-Tea on the occasion of Malaysia’s 60th National Day. The High Commissioner also delivered his speech at the venue.
