On Monday, 7 August 2023, H.E. Ambassador Azhar sent off H.E. Admiral Muhammad Amjad Niazi NI(M) S. Bt, Chief of Naval Staff of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan at the Islamabad International Airport. At the invitation of the Chief of Royal Malaysian Navy, Admiral Tan Sri Abdul Rahman Ayob, Admiral Niazi was proceeding on an Official Visit to Malaysia from 8 to 12 August 2023. He was accompanied by his spouse and two Pakistan Navy officers. On this occasion, both sides also discussed matters related to bilateral affairs as well as to enhance cooperation between the Navy's of the two brotherly countries.
During the visit, besides meetings with the Malaysian Officials, Admiral Niazi will also visit the Ministry of Defence and Royal Malaysian Navy Mawilla 3 Headquarter in Langkawi.
