The OIC envoys in Islamabad, including, H.E. Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani bin Mujtabar, Malaysia, called on President Mamnoon Hussain at the President’s office over a tea gathering on 26 May, 2014. He expressed appreciation to all OIC countries that supported Pakistani candidate to the post of OIC Assistant Secretary General and hoped that this would promote and strengthen cooperation among OIC Countries.
The President also urged all OIC countries to cooperate and play greater role to resolve impending issues like the Kashmir dispute, Palestine and Syria. He further added that OIC should make further efforts to promote shared values, safeguard interest of the Muslim World and promote the solidarity among the brotherly countries.
