PERWAKILAN ISLAMABAD 1ST ANNUAL DINNER AT RUMAH MALAYSIA ON 15 JANUARY 2010 On 15th January 2010, PERWAKILAN Islamabad held its first Annual Dinner. The Annual Dinner was attended by seven members and two invited guests. Due to the security issues enveloping Pakistan currently, the event was held at Rumah Malaysia. The new Chairperson of PERWAKILAN Islamabad, DATIN NORZELAH MOHD ZAKARIA took the lead in organizing the event, assisted by PN KAMARIAH.
Themed 'Glamorous Night', the ladies came in glittering costume, dressed to kill, but with elegance and poise. Some rented their costumes and had Pakistani style make-up. Such excitement for their maiden annual dinner! Giggles and laughter were heard as the ladies complimented each other on their brave effort.
Some of the activities for the night were Exchange of Gifts, Lucky Draw, Karaoke Contest and Best Dressed. PN NOR AINI was voted the Best Karaoke Singer, followed by PN KAMSIAH as runner-up and DATIN NORZELAH in the third place. In the Best Dressed Category, PN KAMSIAH won first, while PN NOR AINI and PN SABARIAH were voted 2nd and 3rd respectively.
Menu for the dinner consisted of western cuisines beginning with Pumpkin Soup followed by the main course of Lamb Chop, Beef Steak, Jacket Potatoes and Mixed Salad with French dressing. Desserts were made up of Apple Pie, Cream Custard Pudding and fruits. The food was specially prepared by the residence?s cook.
