On Friday 31 March 2023, Kelab STMI in collaboration with PERWAKILAN Islamabad held a "Bubur Lambuk" programme in conjunction with Ramadan.
This programme started early in the morning to prepare of the special traditional rice porridge. After the Friday prayers, the bubur lambuk was distributed to selected local residents of the Diplomatic Enclave. The symbolic event of the "Bubur Lambuk" distribution was completed by His Excellency Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, High Commissioner of Malaysia to Pakistan.
The purpose of this programme was to strengthen the relationship and cooperation among the community of Malaysian High Commission apart from observing the true spirit of giving during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
