PROGRESS ON THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA COMPLEXES IN ISLAMABAD ON 17 JULY 2009 After one week of the initial stage of construction of the complexes of the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad on 10 July 2009, HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner of Malaysia made his second inspectorate visit to the two plots of land in the Diplomatic Enclave on Friday, July 17, 2009, at 4:30 p.m. He was accompanied by the main Malaysian Contractor, HAJI ISMAIL ARIS of the Expertise International A & I Private Limited in Islamabad.
Unlike the first visit, HAJI ISMAIL ARIS has imposed strict safety procedures and measures at these two construction sites, i.e., the mandatory use of a safety hard-helmet proclaiming ?Safety First?.
During the sites visit, HAJI ISMAIL ARIS briefed and up-dated AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN up to the minute on the progress of works that has taken place to-date. Some works had already been done, such as hoarding, boring of underground water supply, laying the foundation for the fabricated site-office, etc.
On the first plot (1.6 acres), the works in progress have been very significant, while progression of works of the second plot (2.5 acres) was also substantial with the excavating, leveling and removing of the mountain-heaps of soil. Essentially, the progress of the construction stage of the High Commission of Malaysia Complexes has been impressive and historically remarkable to-date.
