SIGNING OF THE CONDOLENCE BOOK ON THE DEMISED OF HIS MAJESTY ALMARHUM TUANKU JAAFAR IBNI AL-MARHUM TUANKU ABDUL RAHMAN, YANG DI-PERTUAN BESAR NEGERI SEMBILAN, MALAYSIA
On 30-31 December 2008, the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad coordinated the invitation and signing of Condolence Book on the demised of His Majesty Almarhum Tuanku Jaafar Ibni Al-Marhum Tuanku Abdul Rahman. His Majesty Almarhum Tuanku was the Tenth The Yang Di-Pertuan Agong of Malaysia from 1994 untill 1999. HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, the High Commissioner of Malaysia led the event by signing the Condolence Book at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, 30 December 2008. Following this, Malaysian, foreign and local dignitaries from the Government of Pakistan (MFA), embassies, leaders of Malaysian companies in Islamabad-Rawalpindi and the Home-Based Staff (HBS) and Locally Recruited Staff (LRS) of the High Commission of Malaysia had taken time and the opportunities to reflect and imprint their profound condolences to His Majesty Almarhum Tuanku. Furthermore, the testimony of love and respect to His Majesty Almarhum Tuanku continued with the passion of flying the Malaysian Flag at half-mast for three consecutive days from 29-31 December 2008 at both the Chancery of the High Commission and the Official Residence of the High Commissioner?s RUMAH MALAYSIA. HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN, who hails from Rembau, Negeri Sembilan, imprinted his heartfelt condolences as follows.
