On Monday, 14 August 2023, Ambassador Mohammad Azhar Mazlan attended the oath-taking ceremony of the caretaker Prime Minister H.E. Anwar ul Haq Kakar at Aiwan-e-Sadr (Presidential Palace) in Islamabad. The oath was administered by President Arif Alvi. The Ambassador had the opportunity to personally congratulate the caretaker Prime Minister on his appointment.
Presence during the ceremony, among others, were former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir, former cabinet members, members of the diplomatic corps, and representatives from the media.
