THE 2nd QUARTER 'MALAYSIA INCORPORATED' MEETING AT THE HIGH COMMISSION OF MALAYSIA IN ISLAMABAD

On Wednesday, 27 May 2009, HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner of Malaysia, held a ?Malaysia Incorporated? Meeting with few Malaysian companies based in Islamabad-Rawalpindi, Lahore and Karachi. Some of the prominent companies were PETRONAS, TNB Liberty Power, IJM, Malaysian Palm Oil Board Karachi and Bina Puri were present in the meeting. The Vice Consul (MATRADE) from Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai was also present in the meeting.

 

After AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN?s welcoming remarks, the various representatives of the Malaysian companies had lengthy discussions deliberating on issues related to their activities and experiences in terms of roles, challenges and prospects.

 

After the 'Malaysia Incorporated' Meeting, a lunch was hosted by HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD at RUMAH MALAYSIA with homely Malaysian cuisines to savour.

In conclusion, AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN was extremely happy with the successful outcome of the second-quarter of the 'Malaysia Incorporated' Meeting in 2009 that had truly benefited fellow Malaysians in the cities of Islamabad-Rawalpindi Lahore and Karachi and thanked to Mr. Khaifil Elmi Jamil, Vice Consul (Trade), Consulate General of Malaysia, Chennai for joining the meeting.
