THE 42ND ANNIVERSARY OF ASEAN CELEBRATION IN ISLAMABAD

On Saturday, 8 August 2009, HIS EXCELLENCY AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN ABD SAMAD, High Commissioner and the Home-Based Staff (HBS) of the High Commission of Malaysia in Islamabad and their spouses celebrated the 42^nd Anniversary of ASEAN at the ISLAMABAD Hotel (formerly known as Holiday-Inn Islamabad) to the theme of “GREEN ASEAN.” This celebration was organized by the ASEAN Islamabad Committee (AIC) under its new chairman, HIS EXCELLENCY MR. ISHAK LATUCONSINA, Ambassador of Indonesia after taking-over the AIC chair from AMBASSADOR AHMAD SHAHIZAN on July 13, 2009.
