On 15 December 2024, the Wild Wild West Year-End Dinner marked a splendid conclusion to the year, organized by PERWAKILAN Islamabad in collaboration with the High Commission of Malaysia, Islamabad. Held at the Mayang Sari Hall, the event was attended by PERWAKILAN members, Home-Based Staff (HBS), and Locally Recruited Staff (LRS).
The evening began with a welcoming speech by H.E. Ambassador Dato’ Mohammad Azhar Mazlan, Advisor of PERWAKILAN Islamabad, followed by heartfelt gratitude remarks from To’ Puan Amelia Amani Lee Abdullah, Chairperson of PERWAKILAN Islamabad. Themed Wild Wild West, the hall was creatively transformed to resemble a cowboy ranch, complete with tents, miniatures of cows and horses, cacti, drums, and guns, immersing attendees in a unique and festive ambiance.
The dinner featured a delectable menu, including Roast Lamb Leg, BBQ Lamb Chop, Mini Steak, Popcorn Chicken, Apple Pie, Ponche, and many other treats. Adding to the evening's charm, the HBS and LRS were honored with a rendition of the Birthday Song and a Lucky Draw as a gesture of appreciation for their dedication throughout 2024.
The event was filled with fun activities, including games such as Ring Throw, Wheel Spin, and Dart, which were thoroughly enjoyed by everyone. The cheerful faces and spontaneous feedback from the attendees reflected their delight. The evening also saw participants dancing joyfully to the Line Dance by Cotton Eye Joe, creating an energetic and lively atmosphere.
A highlight of the night was the announcement of winners for the Best Costume Cowboy and Cowgirl, showcasing the creative efforts of the participants. Congratulations to the following winners:

The delightful food, engaging activities, and shared moments of joy created memories that would last well beyond the year's end.
