Tourism Malaysia and Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab (TDCP) of Pakistan, co-hosted a travel mart in Lahore on 7 March, 2016. Tourism Malaysia was headed by Dato’ Diljit Singh, and TDCP was represented by Mr. Ahmer Malik, Managing Director of Tourism Development Corporation of Punjab. The Minister of Education Youth Affairs and Tourism Punjab, Hon. Rana Mashood Ahmad Khan and Malaysian High Commissioner to Pakistan, Dato’ Dr. Hasrul Sani Mujtabar, were the Chief Guests.
The Minister in his remarks, expressed the hope that more tourism activities between the two brotherly countries could be further enhanced.
The Sabah Cultural Troupe also performed a dazzling performance during the travel mart. The troupe has also performed in Islamabad at Marriott Hotel and the Mayang Sari Hall of the High Commission of Malaysia.
