On 13 August 2024, Mr. Mohd Syafik, Counsellor of the High Commission of Malaysia, Islamabad undertook a visit to Maroof International Hospital Islamabad. The Counsellor was received by Mr. Haroon Naseer, Chief Executive of the Hospital, and his team. Mr. Syafik was accompanied by Mr. Mohammad Zulasri bin Rosdi, First Secretary of the High Commission.
During the visit, Mr. Syafik was briefed on the hospital. Mr. Syafik also took the opportunity to talk about health cooperation between Malaysia and Pakistan. Mr. Syafik also was accompanied to visit all departments of the hospital as well as the medical facilities. The Counsellor also attended the Independence Day Celebration of Pakistan and had a cake-cutting ceremony with the staff of the Hospital.
Mr. Haroon Naseer thanked the Counsellor for his brief visit and extended his gratitude to him for joining the Independence Day celebration.
